UKIP is finished - wiped out within recent local elections etc. They have proven to be a one-trick/leader pony under Farage who is now relishing life within 'celebritydom'.

EU was always going to make negotiations as tough as possible given that too generous a deal would open the floodgates for other countries to seek a similar appetite to leave. The reality is that Brexit Govt ministers had NO evidence of impact or proper policy platform in place as was revealed come the result of the Referendum. Since then, it has been decision making made on the hoof.

What a cock. If they go back to the polls those two populist parties will increase their votes.

The EU is very lucky that France has such a rigged form of general elections.

Optimistic as ever

The last few days have been absolute gems. First the utter farce that is Italy and the shocking developments there (apparently the best excuse the Remainers can come up with is that the Italian President did what he did because he wanted to stop the markets having kittens. LOL. That went well.)

And then we have good old George Soros. You truly could not make this up. A foreign Billionaire heading up a campaign to give us poor bewildered Brits another chance to vote again so that we can acknowledge how silly we were the first time around.

Its beautiful. It really is. The only single doubt I have at the back of my mind, and it is perhaps more a sign of my paranoia than any logic, is wondering if these people can be this deliberately stupid? Part of me wonders if they actually want to create the chaos? But I need to ignore that voice although it has been right, on occasion, in the past.

Just enjoy. That is what I keep telling myself.

I think it would suit some remainers to have a financial crisis so they can finger point and say its only going to get worse.

What is happening in Italy is a disgrace I hope they do have another election and the euro skeptic parties win a landslide.

Reports today that George Sorros a foreign billionaire and Lord Adonis who has never held an elected position will launch a campaign for a 2nd referendum. I hope the public greet this with a massive yawn.

Part of me wants a 2nd vote only my vote would be deal or no deal with no deal meaning we leave and keep our 40bn.

I hope Mrs May takes note that the EU will be bailing out the Italians and will need our 40bn, time to turn the screw Theresa.

One more point

I've been saying on here for years that by removing ourselves from the EU we will be able to minimise the economic impact of its inevitable demise and breakup....but only by about half....less so with the remainers appearing to push for a Brexit in name only.

The EU has been on a suicide mission since its enlargement and has only hastened it with Merkel's decisions as its de facto leader.

Question on this - in this no deal scenario, in your opinion (we still don't know the govt's opinion btw), what would this mean for Northern Ireland and it's border with Eire?

I've been trying to think of how this can be solved and (unsurprisingly) can't come up with anything.
