This is exactly the belligerent attitude that the EU and Remainers have adopted since June 23.

This is an issue that the EU needs to assist with because he EU must respect democracy. If not, butt out and let us sort his out only with the Republic of Ireland. The EU did diddly squat to assist with peace in Ireland and I am sure that the Irish government is wlling to do a sensible deal with their largest trading partner.

If it doesn’t, it is f***ed and it’s getting that way. It’s anti democratic actions in Greece, Ireland and Italy are producing the reflex of anti-EU sentiment.

If the EU wants to be a partner of the UK, great. If not, f*** off and we will happily subscribe to a no deal situation.

Ireland's largest trading partner is the USA and then the EU. Ireland should do a deal with the UK but small countries in the EU are not cared about so Ireland will side with the EU unfortunately and not the UK.

Lets be realistic, the PSNI does not control large parts of the border, namely South Armagh, what are 5 customs officers going to do there?

That's what I have been saying. Major importers and exporters will do their paperwork / taxes from their offices like we check in online for flights. There will be smuggling but I don't think it will be big enough to jeopardise the Good Friday Agreement. It happens now.

It's funny how European countries that aren't in the EU can cope with no issues.

haha the Russians again now replacing Brussels in the UK's blame game.

I am surprised they don't get blamed for the northern and general rail fiasco but then Frankie Boyle has no complaints in his comfortable Russian train journeys.

It must be EU leaves on the line, or should we say 'leavers' on the line.

Leavers who will be bleating ever more in the future and never take responsiblity for their s***e country, which is only happening because of them.

Those of them that are not actually leaving to live in the EU after transfering their funds there.

The race is on to the bottom for the UK, is it the fault of Brussels or Russia.

As long as its not Trump, who is annexing the UK shortly.

'Never give a sucker an even break'

That is the Trump maxim and we are lining up in his sights.

This is exactly the attitude of Brits since Cromwell in Ireland.

The Irish border issue is not one we can just brush under the carpet or wash our hands of. It's incumbent on Brexiters to come up with a workable solution or to accept one of the EU's.

EY's latest European attractiveness survey has seen London lose it's top spot for investor attractiveness for the first time to Paris. Brexit seen as a major headache for investors.

'Workable solution'

We know what's being done here.

Cool.

There will be instability with Brexit until the economy stabilizes within ten years of it.

It won't collapse, which so many of the institutions we are meant to believe had predicted....even after the vote.

The EU however, that appears to be permanently on thin financial ice.

In fact I predict that eventually economies like the UK will be seen as a safe and predictable place for investment.....as we have traditionally been....and the EU as unstable.

The UK brexit will be followed by others.....especially as the immigration madness affects social cohesion more and more.....Reactions to it are all over Europe and gaining higher and higher support.

Divide the world into regional groups as a transitional stage to world government. Populations will more readily abandon their national loyalty to a vague regional loyalty than they will for a world authority. Later the regions can be brought together all the way into a single world dictatorship.
