Well Marks & Spencers would be more of the Tottenham Hotspur flavour of retailer. So what retailer matches our values and identity ? Kwik save ?

Kayla's at Anfield & Old Trafford

we could always put a lidl under the holmesdale, and a Fortnum and Mason under the Arfur.....teach Sainsbury's a lesson to those who are too greedy

Surely F&M should be under the Main Stand. Arfur can have Aldi!

Maybe things would be different if Palace were a top six premiership team and the advertising exposure potential was different - I think Sainsbury's spend about £60M on advertising a year - SP would know this. (a deal for a Sainsbury's stand anyone?)

As we flirt with relegation and the expected drop in attendance figures if the unthinkable happens then the new stand loses it's attraction as attendance figures and TV coverage would be much, much lower.

Didn't they cause an issue with Champion Hill as well?

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Do you realise what that will cost? A New stand would be at least 75m so wasting that on a short term fix is pointless. If we are going to move then leave Selhurst as it is and throw all the money at a new ground.

The Premier League is a gold mine of money. Ten more years in our current ground is not short term. If we remain a Premier league club, Selhurst Park will not be sufficient to fulfill our ambitions in the future. It is too limited in terms of land and access is appalling.

Wasn't it Bloye who sold that land.

Don't think so. Bloye sold to Noades in January 1981, and the Whitehorse Lane end car park was sold to Sainsbury's later that year.

My memory is that Bloye sold to Nodes excluding the land which he separately sold and coined.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
