They haven't exactly set the league alight - we usually beat them these days and they are very inconsistent. We aren't far behind them. They are a mid-table club, yet I guarantee they think they will piss the top four with Herr Klopp.
Our fans are miles better too but they think they are the best in the world. Probably best fans in Ireland and Norway.

tbh ive read a lot of Liverpool media from their local online newspapers and several times I have read how theyre upset they're now in the same category of chasing players as Palace and West Ham.

Not quite true when you consider Courtinio etc, but I do think, with the money being Spread out the way it is, most teams from now on can offer similar wages and fees.

The gap no doubt will close and the FA spokemen who cheered Leicesters title as major change of how this league is heading…

There is every chance a small club today could be a big club in 10 years. Every chance.

And we are almost definitely in that process now with any number of suitors.

They finished the season eighth, two points outside of Europa qualification, they finished 10 points ahead of Chelsea. We, on the other hand, finished 15th, 20 points short of Europa and 18 points behind Liverpool, having only won one of our last 22 games, and contrived to finish even below Watford.

Liverpool have a modern, 54k seater stadium and are just about to complete a new main stand. They have state-of-the-art training facilities and a Category One Academy. We have none of these things.

As for the willy-waving 'better fans' nonsence, we have a few dozen black-shirted kids in one corner of the ground, led by some ex-Spud supporting Poles, jumping up and down and smashing a drum; in every other respect our support is exactly the same as any other club's.

I really did think that this sort of bitter and delusional thinking was restricted to NSC, but clearly not.
