Yes, it was a fantastic result and i'm more than happy but was it really a great performance against the worst team we've seen here for a long while? No. It was a good win against a piss poor team so let's not get carried away eh, because should we lose the next two or three the 'Pardew Out Brigade' will be at it again.
Get it?

Stoke are a good team low on confidence the first goal was massive every one of our players were 7/10 or above that will win most games. The delivery of our set pieces and crosses were superb. Townsends goal was class as was his whole game. Benteke holds the ball so well while MOTM McArthur was everywhere,Punchoen and Ledleys best games for a long time Wilf worked his socks off and like Dann had a great game.

Very happy with the win, although somehow the Stoke goal at the end takes the gloss of it.

4 goals, against a team with their quality, we did very well today to be fair.

Virtually everyone had a good game. Flamini did look rusty when he came on, a bit of a liability, but at least we have cover in that area excluding Cabaye (surely he is going to be second fiddle to Mac and Ledley now?)

lets build some momentum now!

Great to get some momentum over a number of games since the second half against Bournemouth. Haven't seen that for such a long while. Expect a few changes mid week but hope to see another strong performance next weekend. COYP !!

Will Pardew put Cabaye straight back in the team and ruin things? We've been better without him.

Well I don't "get it". Unfortunately I'm away so had to watch on tv but we played great from where I and my fellow palace supporters were sitting. And actually we've played 2 teams of worse pedigree this season and struggled.

So you say you're glad to see the opposition score? Sorry don't get that either.

All that to keep the feet on the ground of us happy supporters? Hmmm

Agree. A very good first 30 minutes average at best middle 30 and the last 30 we looked great at times but careless at others.
Very happy with the result

We really were poor at times and 4-0 flattered us massively.
Anyway, 3pts and a solid 'mid-table' position after a slow start.
Roll on Southampton.

We had a couple of 'mad moments' but we absolutely bossed that game. By the time they scored we were really just running out the time trying to avoid injuries.

If we wanted to, we could have won that five or six nil. Stoke have some real problems, but they weren't rubbish, they lacked focus. No where near the cohesion they've had in previous seasons.

Mark Hughes first for the sack.

Stoke were a pale shadow of the side that have caused problems for PL teams in recent seasons. In actual fact I thought they were were dire.Stoke were always a hard team to play against with their passion and desire but today they lacked a lot.Worrying times for their fans.

A well deserved win for us.

Pay back for 1990 cup final equalizer that broke our hearts when we was so close.
Strangely I've hated him ever since
