Anyone else having issues with the site when using ie10? I can see the board and subject level..but as soon as I click on a subject the page loading hangs and then kicks me out. Having to resort to using the phone at the mo.

i hate smart ar$e replies normally but this has a semblance of truth in it. Try not using IE10 , it'll solve a lot more than Holmesdale.net issues

I've never had much luck using HOL on IE. It works fine in Safari (home) and Chrome (work). I think I read somewhere that IE works in a different way to all of the other browsers. Web developers have to double their work (someone correct me if I'm wrong) to make a site that works with IE and with all the others, so there's less and less effort made in creating a site that works properly in IE. That was what I heard around the time of IE8/IE9 but I guess it's possible things have changed since then. Anyway, long and short of it was, when I heard that I ditched IE8 and went over to Chrome.

I am using Firefox and it does the same with me. Are you on Windows 10? I think (though not 100% certain) that it started doing it around the last update.

Hi, I've just tested it in IE10 on Windows 7 and haven't had any issues. However I would highly recommend you to run Google Chrome or Firefox instead as they are so much faster and more up to date browsers than IE10.

There has been a further W10 update a few days ago, and it hasn`t happened to me since.

Maybe you could ask work to upgrade to IE11 which is the latest version.
