What they do know is math Mr. Pardew. They can probably get their heads around numbers like 5-4 and 6 in a row. By the way, even before yesterday's result I was Pardew IN.

Yesterday's result was a welcome relief to us all, but I'm not convinced we have turned the corner yet. The Gods were smiling on us yesterday and we still looked vulnerable in defence but clearly in better shape than at Swansea, which was about as bad defending as I've ever seen. If Pardew uses his loaf, he will continue to concentrate on working on our defence and choosing his words carefully from now on.... not giving soundbites like "We're not looking for clean sheets" or other stupid quotes. We are not out of the woods yet people.

Yesterday was a very strange game of football Southampton were dross. We were bang average and didn't really create anything until the third goal. Tactics didn't really come into it.

If it was meant to insult the Americans he's going the right way about it, but I doubt he's looking for the sack, it's just belligerent. He's always been like that so it's not surprising.

Ok here is the plan.... We don't like the manager. He could s##t golden eggs and ee would want Platinum. He wins a match and keeps a clean sheet the two things we really want so let's find another spurious reason for a pop
