..or just kick Pards?

Team selection looked odd. But, Lee was good as was Flamini.

Then, the ref (who was terrible) should have both ruled out their opener and sent off their man for the bad challenge. This changes the entire game.

We scored a great goal, generally looked solid and deserved the 1-1 based on the above.

I will acknowledge that a)we should have cut out zlatan for the winner (who along with the overated pogba was bang average) and b)the MCcarthur sub (best player on the pitch by some way imo) made no sense

But, will the haters acknowledge any merits or positive moves on Pardews part?

Lee and Flamini, were not good Lee offered nothing going forward and when (i assume ) asked to drop into midfield to cover JM looked lost. Flamini looked like what he is, and old pro on his last legs, and after 30 mins JM was doing most of his running.

Does it though ? I accept that playing 10 men is normally an advantage but recent records would show that we are just an inept at beating teams with 10 as we are 11.

We did score a good goal created by a pass from a RB playing left back, and the assist from a CB, finished by a defensive CM. We did not look Solid at all they had 69% possession over the 90 mins, thats bad. 16 shots to our 6, 8 on target to our 3, 10 corners to our 1. We were outplayed from the first whistle to the last. But this is Man United I hear you say ? Man united are a shadow of there former selves and we threw away a point with a ridiculous sub.

No I won't acknowledge AP was anything other than an idiot, same as he has been since we lost away at Villa last season.

Leaving a proven international on the bench and brining on Cambell WTAF is he doing.

Sorry mate but that is utter contradictory codswallop. You can't say go for the win, the bring on a defender, you can't say it was right to bring of McCarthur with 4 mins left and leave Cabaye on who clearly the more tired of the the two.

he did the same thing when we played Hull, winning 1-2 away from home he takes JM off and we scrape a 3-3 draw. same thing against Burnley 4-3 up JM goes off we lose 5-4.

The man is an idiot and if you think Brining Cambell on instead of an England international is OK, then I'm afraid you are beyond reasoning with.

AP is sh1t just accept it.

How can that be? One is a center forward, and the other a winger? The reason he didn't bring Townsend on was because we had two wide players on ie Fryers although a defender, he played him further forward, like when he supplied the cross for a Benteke goal earlier in the season (I think), and Zaha who was by that time, back out wide. I just think he brought Campbell on to make it a four when going forward, but chose Fryers for his ability to defend when they came forward. As opposed to Townsend who can't be a**** to do any defensive duties. Maybe it was suicide, but I think he is just gambling on getting all the points. Maybe foolish, but gambling 1 point for 3 is a chance maybe worth taking in a game we weren't expecting much from.

1.Because it's a tactic that frequently ends with us conceding a late goal that costs us points.

2. Yes, you are.

3. The overall answer to the problem is to despatch Pardew.

It would be great to see how a new manager plays with the same players at his disposal. I kind of guess Pardew will go, new manager gets the new purchases, and everything is down to what a great manager the new man is. How about getting Freedman back! I really do think he is trying all different options with the subs, but hey, now we're in the big time, I suppose instant success is what people want. Having been a supporter for 50 years plus, I guess having seen the dross over many years, I'm just glad we can just survive in these early years of our real growth.

My only argument on the luck theme is that the two that went our way were in the second half. IF the ref does his job properly Rojo walks and the whole game changes in the first halfas a forward has to be sacrificed to bring on a defender and Bailey was struggling. What happens after that I have no idea, but I'd of loved the chance to find out.
Thing is we are getting no luck, but for a whole year?
Change of manager, change of luck?

I may have missed something here but the point seems to be missed, that we play Chelsea on Saturday and we will have both Punch and Mac in midfield. Mac will still be one cardfrom suspension b ut last night that was avoided. I remember a similar situation with Murray being left on and soon getting red carded,Mac is combative and always runs that risk. Bringing on Campbell against Hull worked and it just might have last night. Plenty of hindsight and it looks bad

First off playing players out of position is something of a forte for Pardew, Ward Left Back, Kelly right Back, Sako Left Back Mcarthur Right wing etc. And you say about a winger not being a forward, OK then explain why Wilf was put up front in a two with Tekkers, while Lee was played Left and McCarthur played right wing FFS.

I said from the start that Townsend for Puncheon was a straight and simple choice. Wilf right and Chungy left with Ledley and McCarthur deep. If you then want to go more defensive you bring Cabaye on for Townsend and ask him to sit just behind a loan striker.

But no thundercnut decides to bring on Frazer "couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat" Cambell and take off a defensive CM with 4, thats 4 Mins left. The man is a f***witted buffoon who will Guaranteed have us swapping places with the weed.

And what's more Parish is letting it happen. How anyone can defend 6 wins in 41 league games is beyond me.

I have no confidence at all we will beat either Chelsea Watford or Arsenal meaning that we will have 15 points after 19 Games. Or 6 Wins out of 44 Games.

If you or anyone else thinks that is acceptable form for a manager, then you need help.

How so, we were 2-1 up, before McCarthur was taken off then went 3-2 down in his absence, I fail to see how taking him off "worked" just because he got us an equaliser we should never have needed.

Against Hull we were losing and Campbell was a desperate last throw of the dice to try and salvage a point (having thrown away yet another lead) and we got lucky. Yesterday we should have been trying to protect a point and close out the game against a side that were dominating us. Trying to go for a win was suicidal and was never going to work.

This is it in one sentence for me.

6 wins in 41!? And he talks about being unlucky!? He's f***ing lucky if anything, to still be in a job!

But you are not disagreeing that removing Mac was a sensible precaution ?

I will disagree. We could well have come out of the United and Chelsea games with one point. Now we'll have none.

Why save him for Chelsea? If anything get the booking out the way and choose that game for him to miss as we're extremely unlikely to get anything from it with or without him. He is more needed in closer games i think.
