Owen refused to accept that the Orlando club attack, as well as being an attack on gay people, was also in support of IS (the gunman phoned the police and said it was in support of IS!).

Livingstone said the 7/7 attacks were people 'giving their lives' because the UK invasion of Iraq (all our own fault yet again. Yesterday, he also tried to deflect discussion of the latest, Islamic inspired terrorist attack, by talking about right wing groups stockpiling guns.

Corbyn refers to the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist groups as 'friends'. He also helped Sein Fein/IRA by inviting them to the Houses of Parliament.

Khan said terror attacks are "part and parcel of living in a big city". (You know, similar to Jamie as he recently posted, that a few terrorist killings are worth all the benefits we get from mass immigration.)

Galloway, along with his numerous statements in support of terrorist activities against Israel, gave £25,000 of his own money to the terrorist group Hamas.

I saw this story about Kahn yesterday. Can't believe it didn't get more coverage in the run-up to the mayoral election.

I'll add you to the list - you are now No.6.

A astonished at some of the posts on here.
4 dead. 8 critical and people want to crack jokes and babble about politics.
If the national press reported about some of the things said in this thread it would look pretty embarrassing.

Nothing changes on here....

As usual the Union official and other soppy liberal apologists like Kermit etc steadfastly stick to their script.

Meanwhile innocent lives are lost and a few more thousand people wake up and smell the coffee coming round to Trump's train of thought that you cannot trust Muslims not to kill "Kafirs" because the holy Quran (the Islamic Life Instruction Manual) clearly instructs them to do so.

If 99% of Muslims don't agree with this instruction why don't they remove it from their Manual?

Also, why do they throw homosexuals and lesbians off high roofs and cliffs as well as treating women and animals abominably?

Probably because they like living in the Dark Ages?

If we followed Trump's lead and treated all of them with suspicion and then deported those already proven to be extremist and likely to cause harm we wouldn't be mourning the dead today.

We could at least issue stab vests to our brave policemen who are fighting a losing battle and like our soldiers have to fulfill some ridiculous rules of engagement before taking these fruitcakes out.

Well this union official (I like the way you think that's a derogatory phrase)thinks the attack was an atrocity. However I don't think eying all Muslims with suspicion is a very good idea.

I think you could probably say that about every discussion thread out there.
When you read some of the stuff on the wider internet it is quite depressing.

Humour is a way to deal with the truly dreadful of course but I doubt anyone with sense takes yesterday's events lightly. One man can do a lot of damage and it doesn't matter if he acts alone in the modern world. It just demonstrates how much damage that tiny percentage of sympathisers that is often spoken of can do.

surely its a role for the muslim community to stop dangerous preachers and dangerous ideas from taking hold.

forget fighting with guns and security cordons. The only way to stop this 'war' is at the ideas level. Ideology.

plus no more Tony Blair heroics with airplanes and troops would help.
