If Trump, us, the French, etc and the media and others targeted the real problem - Saudi and those other places mentioned and wiped Wahhabism and Salafism off this earth - then we would see the desired results.

All that energy by some demonising all Muslims is just playing to the crowd and detracts from what should be happening. The proscription of said cult and severe punishment for those countries that refuse to turn away from it and embrace a more benign form of Sunni Islam.

We will get to that when the oil runs out!

LOL how ridiculous

I agree. To worry more for potential attackers than the potential victims is weird.

I don't see anyone doing that?

I do however see a lot of lazy unjustified generalisations.

I know some of you like to see a bar chart before anyone can make an observation.

Newsflash. With the kind of statistics revealed in surveys such as this, it's evident the communities (indeed attitudes towards society) are already light years apart. The liberal cuckoldery towards a certain faith baffles me.

Those statistics were produced by the Gatestone Institute.

A quick gander at Wikipedia shows that the people behind the "non-partisan" Gatestone Institute are:

Founder Nina Rosenwald - heiress
Chairman John R Bolton - Fox News commentator and former Republican nominated ambassador to the UN
Viscountess Bearsted - wife of hereditary peer Nicholas Samuel (the original Viscount his great great grandfather Marcus Samuel was joint founder of the Shell Oil Company)
Baroness Cox - a life peer and a strong advocate of Christian Zionism
Alan Dershowitz - lawyer
The Lord Finkelstein OBE - former advisor to PM John Major
Merryl H Tisch - heiress and daughter of Rabbi Phillip Hiat
Amir Taheri - an Iranian born conservative who has been the subject of many controversies involving fabrications in his writings...

They have a few token muslims on board but I remain far from convinced by their neutrality.

Do you need me to continue? Hopefully those of you who can spot a 4x2 when they see one will get where I'm coming from.

Oh and my wife is Jewish so please don't hit me with any anti-semitism bull. I'm just saying that research conducted by this lot into moslems might be a bit biased.

Unfortunately not. I am, however, surprised the attacker managed to get inside the gates of Parliament. I dread to think what might have happened if he had not been alone.

people are condemning the english fans for singing 'ten german bombers' during the england vs germany match, in light of the terror attack today. i fail to see any connection, or any reason why the fans shouldn't take part in a song about a united country beating a fascist superpower.

Certain members of the left have their heads so far stuck in the sand over the reality of this problem that if the tide came in they would drown.

They are a well meaning but ultimately harmful part of the problem. They fiddled while the fire burned and speculated that the fire wouldn't grow larger.

Absolutely dreadful news. Thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of all those who have lost their lives. And pray God that those who have been injured make a full recovery. My heart goes out to all those affected.

99%? Yet, as noted earlier in this thread, two thirds of British Muslims wouldn't report someone they suspected might be involved with Jihadists.

I think it was 34%. Which means 66% would. I don't think anyone thinks there isn't a problem but that we have to be focus on those who are the problem rather than the generalisation so as to avoid creating a bigger problem.

Isis are bad enough but politicians who come out afterwards and make statements about how "we won't be beaten" and all the typical bulls*** are just as much a part of the problem. It's happened, families have lost loved ones yet again and it will keep happening until we throw away this pathetic political correctness. Pictures on social media saying "I heart London" and hashtags such as #prayforlondon are stupid, weak and do not help anyone in any way at all. People need to start acknowledging that we've got big f***ing problems, inside or outside of the EU and it's about time people put the national safety before their own self-righteous, non offensive, "good person" ego.

What's worse is the people who stood there and filmed the thing like a f***ing inbred rather than seeing bodies of their own city lying about and actually trying to help them, just as bad and should hang their head in f***ing shame!
