Uganda and Nigeria and plenty of others have punitive jail time.

34 African countries have it down as illegal. Looks like roughly one-third of them are predominately Christian and two-thirds Muslim.

Uganda does not have the death penalty for gay 'crimes' anymore.
Nigeria does - but only in the northern Muslim states that are governed by Sharia Law!
What Christian countries have the death penalty for gay 'crimes'?

I don't think there are. But plenty where internment occurs if you are openly lgbt, or it is a criminal offence.

Any country that has the death penalty is backwards IMHO.

I'm glad we have cleared up the fact that the only countries where the death penalty is applied for gay 'crimes' are Muslim.

Both happened.

I don't know about "platforming" what do you mean?

I actually support the Falkland Islanders right to self determination.

What is a mainstream Christian country though? The UK isn't and nor is the US, they're not theocratic, they're secular countries with Christian populations.

Obviously you can't really compare a country like the US or UK to say Iran (despotic dictatorship).

Personally, I believe that any country that persecutes what individuals can do, that doesn't directly affect another persons freedom of self, is injust, its just a sliding scale of how unjust and persecutory those nations are.

Theocratic regimes remind me of a medieval mentality, in which morality is enforced, based on a limited subset of moralists who have power.

Top Trumps persecution.

F**k Christianity as a moral system for persecuting people, and f**k Islam as a moral system for persecuting people. Religion is personal, not universal, and any system that impliments 'justice' based entirely on Religion rather than jurisprudence can f**k off.

Don't you think killing gay people, rather than merely disapproving of them, is more cause for saying f**k them?

I gave the time of your post. Why can't you answer the question?

I am sure you will come back with some deflection, such as 'what was your question'.
