I think we all need to give Diane a break. She's obviously been suffering headaches since disappearing back home on the afternoon of the Brexit vote so she didn't have to vote the Brexit bill through against her convictions, or stay and vote against it and oppose Corbyn.

She's excused of:

Self preservation.
Hypocrisy.

Being out of her depth.

One of the things that really gets my goat is people using the fact they are in a protected group (in employment law terms) or minority group as a weapon when it is not fully justified.

All that does is devalue the protection offered. It is insulting to other people in that protected group.

In the case of Ms Abbott she is hoisted by her own petard. As she seems always to use the strength of these cards when it isn't necessarily justified she is - very naturally - going to be accused of siding with the protected group against the majority in an unfair way.

Get over it, sweetheart. The world doesn't revolve around you.
