What are your expectations if de Boer appointed ? I say first target 40pts anything else a bonus in his 1st season .

I see no reason but to look at this optimistically. I think the most popular choice and for me included was Pellegrino but it's safe to say it's hard to really know what we'd be in for with either. Yes it could go wrong but as it stands we're appointing a fairly highly regarded European manager who's won titles abroad, wants to play positive football and also favours an approach towards young talent. He also played for Barcelona and Ajax when they were one of the best teams in Europe. What's there not to be hopeful about at this stage? This is certainly a new period for the club, it may well fail but it could the beginning of something very exciting. Given the fact that we've hired 7 managers in the last 5 years that were all British and have failed to really have a season without scraping survival, it's good to see that we're trying something different. The Palace rollercoaster carries on and I can't honestly see how he'd be any worse than Pardew, Warnock or Holloway!
