This post has been merged from a topic called 'Sakho (£20m bid) ' by Guntrisoft More than his actual ability he seemed to really lift the whole team when he arrived and once he got injured we looked a shadow of ourselves and lost nearly all of our remaining games. If we have the money we have to get him. And I think we will.

C'mot Steve, just pay up what the scoursers want. Then the 3 games lost, no goals scored and zero point will be forgotten. With Sakho on board the spirit of the whole club will be lifted, Fdb or not - don't sell us short on this one, please.

The big question is whether he has recovered from his injury to be fit enough to be in the starting 11. No point paying that sort of money for him not playing or on the bench for the rest of the season.

You can't not buy someone because he may not be fit enough yet (assuming he passes a medical). I think just buying him will give the whole place a lift, especially the fans...
