I do indeed like cats (I have two, instead of children) and periodically shave my head (currently just the sides). I also have a large swivel chair, which one of my cats likes to sit in my lap. As the Doctor has never been female do you think he/she may be a bit confused by the extra large bits on his/her chest and the lack of bits in their nether regions? I'd have thought the whole thing would be enough to turn him/her into a gibbering wreck. Edited by johnno42000 (25 Jul 2017 7.23pm)

I don't like seeing men kissing at a bus stop but I'm intellectually fine with it. You may well have been alienated by society but you also seem to have been rewarded by it. You have lucky to live in a society that rewards ability...it's not a given in this world. I do put self identity into my masculinity, but that doesn't mean I'm out playing darts and drinking pints and appreciating the curve of some girl's leg. Still, if I wanted to why not? Gender expression in a why that reflects your personality is no different to a gay parade....If it's you, be you. No one else has to like it. I get increasingly p1ssed off within today's popular culture with its doubled standards towards masculinity as opposed to feminism.

A trans caller to Lbc this morning said masculinity and femininity aren't binary but a spectrum, like autism. I suppose that I'd be right in saying Dannyh is a more manly man than me but I bet he also has a feminine side.

I think there is sense in that....Sexuality interestingly though appears to be more binary for males and less so for females.....though still measurable via a spectrum. We practically all have a father and a mother so in essence we all have yin and yang, masculinity and femininity. Though when we analyse what it is to be masculine as opposed to feminine or vice versea I suppose we are again back to a spectrum of traits.
