That Trump presents well and can hold effective rallies is unquestionable. It’s what he says and does which are questionable. Hitler presented well and held effective rallies. He was adored and followed by unquestioning millions too.

I am not suggesting Trump holds the same opinions as Hitler, only that the style has echoes.

We need to do better than the Germans did in the 1930s. We don’t have their excuses.

Biden doesn’t present well or hold rallies. He is though a careful, wise and experienced politician who leads in a collegiate way. He listens to advice before speaking or acting. He is dull, and often boring, but he is steady.

Give me the boring but wise over a flashy self opinionated bully any day.

Apparently the guy who thinks that children should get to decide what sex they are and be able to get physical operations that permanently alter them.....apparently he's careful and wise.

Biden is a disaster and the people who supported him have to come to accept that they let emotion come before reason.

He is a dithering old duffer who does not like England very much.

I can see why you like him.

Yep, there's no fun in pushing up daisies. Life is hard enough as it is so good health to you and all Hol's readers.

Thanks. Only today a friend told me his wife has been confirmed as suffering from dementia, so they are both facing an uncertain future. So your good health wishes are reciprocated.

Biden did.

No he didn't. He has allowed the USA to meet its Nato obligations.

Trump wanted to lessen the USA's involvement in Nato and would have held the door open for Putin to walk all over Ukraine.

Did you actually watch the video?

He said no such thing. He was attacking the regressive, populist, legislation in Florida.

That's very different to what you claim. No child can just decide these things for themselves and certainly not get operations that permanently alter them without professional counselling and then, obviously, medical involvement. Gender dysphoria is real. It deserves to be treated seriously a not kicked around as a political football by the right.

No one wants anyone making decisions that they might later regret so I am quite sure that in the USA, as I know is done here, a lot of work is done before anything permanent gets undertaken.

As I said he doesn't present well, but he chooses well and has surrounded himself with quality who quietly get on with their jobs.

This is in stark contrast to Trump who wanted all the focus on himself and all the decisions made by him. Those who refused to be yes men got fired.

That's not Presidencial. It's Dictatorship.

Of course I watched the video. I urge others to watch the video and then compare it to your defence of this practice.

You could have just said I don't support a child having any permanent physical changes made to interfere with the body's natural healthy development.

Children are being permanently physically altered here and when the bell tolls...and it's beginning to happen.....people like you will have to answer for posts like this.

I see you are reduced to playing the Hitler card. Godwin's Law is indeed true.

You make this appear as though any child can, on their own, on a whim, take an immature decision to permanently alter their body.

The truth is that such things are only done after very careful consideration when a child is suffering such severe mental distress as could result in them harming themselves. Have you considered what it must be like for a child who has been born with physical abnormalities that cause them to consider suicide? Abnormalities that can be corrected but which are being campaigned against by those with a political standpoint.
