A few starting to decide on hacking away at the front players to buy a defender for a team looking to take teams on. Odd really.

As a RWB he will be exposed as Ward was. If you have nobody filling the hole next to the CB's when RWB goes forward it's easy pickings for a wide player to run into the space. Liverpool did it down our left in Hong Kong and Metz had some joy last weekend. Not a fan of 3 at the back and I don't think Townsend is the right player for that system. He's worth what someone's willing to pay and if it's not enough, keep him. As with Cabaye, AT not very good at covering when players run past them. So for me if the offers good let them go. We don't know how Frank sees them in the style he wants to play nor can moaning on here about it can change anything. See what happens and support them as we always do......

No it's foolish selling front players to buy a defender that will spell relegation. If Townsend wanted to go to Stoke we should do a swap for Bojan.
