Bizarre article because towards the end he seems to defeat his own argument. He explains what you have to do to 'push on' in the Prem, ie precisely what fans are complaining about NOT happening.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Completely agree with him, our fans are deliusional and act as if we have a given right to be challenging the likes of Everton...

Mental!

Booing in our third game at whilst 0-0 at home in the first half.

f***ing disgraceful....

How many teams have boo'd the likes of big sam out of there club and then sunk. I always thought Palace had a better breed of fan than that.

But frankly I don't think our fans have 1% more class than that now.

Disgraceful, know it all, want it all, mugs. Absolutely itching at the skin to pounce and blame everyone / anyone as soon as you don't get what you want.

Noades / Goldberg / Jordan - better chairman than Parish...
You're having a f***ing laugh right.

Pinching ourselves and thanking our lucky stars?

Small club mentality, which is exactly what I thought the man who walks on water SP wanted us to get away from?

You can bury your head in the sand all you want, I think the fans deserve more than they're getting. Abysmal home form, poor facilities, not addressing the needs of the squad every transfer window, poor planning. We behave like someone who doesn't belong in the premier league and are just here on a jolly, I think the fans have been quite patient, I don't necessarily agree with the booing and some of the comments on here are over the top but SP himself said we need to stop thinking like a small club.

If you have supported Palace for nearly 50 years then you have suffered a lot of misery and underachievement.
It is only natural that you don't want to see the club sink again because of underinvestment in the squad.
Everyone knows this has been a great spell by our standards but get relegated and we will be in another cycle of selling and struggling...and still no new ground.

Every window we spend millions upon millions upon millions.

Pay some of the highest wages going trying to attract the best.

Beckenham is being worked on and has been over the summer. Planning permission being sought and denied not just for the stadium but also for the training ground.

And yet our fans bleet that we're hard done by.

Give over...

Sakho £24m £120k/week playing for palace. that's great news!

Not good enough though.

Wilf didn't get bought by Spurs we gave him £100/wk contract.

Benteke - smashed our transfer record to bits. As we needed a proven goal scorer.

Milio - complete gem of a player for peanuts. We took a chance and he's class.

Yes the stadium isn't done. But let's be fair these things obviously take time. Who long have Spurs been planning there stadium and like wise Liverpool.

Yet impatient Palace fans want everything last month or the board out!

Makes me embarrassed to associate myself with Palace when we have fans like these.

Completely delusional about what the club is trying to do.

Just becuase in one transfer window we spent £10m less than others.

s*** stadium s*** training ground they bemoan. And completely ignore all the planning applications we've submitted trying to move things forward.

Parish out! Get Noades back... hahaha couldn't make it up.... delusional.

Obviously he lied. Clearly his plan was to sign Frank to take us down.
