Rudi you have no idea what Frank said during the ridiculously long recruitment process. He is Frank De Boer - he has been around the block a bit and has worked with some top managers, and got the Inter Job on the back of a very good reputation as a player and coach alike. Parish got stars in his eyes thinking about Swansea and Southampton, and went out and hired a manager who made his name of playing patient possession style football, with strong technical players - perfect fit for Palace dont you think? What do you mean by his "real intentions"? Dont you think he wanted to be successful at this club and win games? On the flip side we can only guess at what Parish told FdB in the interview process, but I doubt it was - we wont sign a backup striker or keeper in the transfer window, and will fart around on Sakho until the last minute clouding and disrupting our ability to do other deals. I would rather look at the architect of this situation, Mr Parish. Its one thing to make a bit of a mistake after spending 33 days hiring a manager, but this is an absolute howler of epic proportions. If after all of this time, he can make a clanger like that, I dont really trust him to run the club tbh. What would I propose I hear you cry - I propose he finds a suitable buyer and sells up. I know De Boer didnt help himself but there is something rotten at the club and the way things are being done at the minute.

If you really think he agreed with Parish how rapidly he was going to make his mark on things then I'm surprised people think that way. If he did, which is ridiculous, he lied to us anyway and he's still stupid, arrogant, naive, careless over our future before you get onto Parish.

Watford 1-1 Palace

Palace 1-2 Swansea

Bolton 0-0 Palace (league cup)

West Ham 3-0 Palace

Palace 2-1 Bolton (league cup)

Palace 0-1 Everton

Palace 0-3 City

But that's okay becsuse he's English and "knows the premier league init!" Although I remember some seriously suggesting at the start of his reign that he had taken the club to lower than Pardew depths.

In my opinion it's a lot more to do with being opposed to a different culture of football than many would like to admit. All this nonsense that foreign managers don't work but that theory has been obliterated too many times now for it to really be taken seriously.

I agree here. Guys, let's just move on. We've got a really tough run of games coming and Roy needs all our help (positive thoughts, good vibes, karma, OOOOOOMMMMM, scented candles...) yeah that's all crap, we just need to roll with it. Let's hope for a good outcome at Southampton.
