We have United, Chelsea and City next. We've just lost to some of the weakest teams in the league.

Now, Palace being Palace, we're bound to win the next three games. I don't know how. I don't know if it's even possible. But I also know that it's destiny.

Well in the latter part of last season we lost to Burnley at home and got completely spanked by Sunderland, but turned Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal over, in the former case without even using Sakho.

OTOH look what Citeh did to Watford today.

Apart from wilf and Sakho to return there is absolutely nothing to be positive about. Sh1t squad and the club is directionless and floundering from top to bottom. A clear out is needed starting with whoever is in charge of the incompetence on and off the field.

When they return, we actually have a very decent starting 11, which won't be picked (JP and JW, I'm looking at you).

If we do get relegated, a root and branch clear out will be possible, and if we do spend a few years bubbling along in the championship thereafter, it might be more beneficial to the club in the long run.

The season we came up we only had 3 points after 10 games and we finished 11th.

We can definitely get to 3 points after 10 games this season.

It will take a while for Hodgson to get his coaching across to the team, just like it did for Allardyce.

Stop wetting yourselves, grow a pair and get behind the team. They just need a bit of confidence.

I was thinking that maybe If Man City play a weakened side against us before their Champions League clash with Shakhtar Donetsk we may have a chance but after today's abysmal showing their second string would thrash us.......

Like it! Common sense.

Roy said all the right things in the post-match interview - I think we can turn things around. The situation seemed very bad when Holloway left the club (4 points after 10 games?)

If we lose the next 3 games, which is highly likely, it really does take an optimist to believe we could survive.

This with bells on, we've been here before, the players know what they need to do so does the new management. Lets not start jumping off the relegation cliff like lemmings just yet !.

Not advocating that we are certainties for relegation after 5 games but we could have zero points after 8 games and somewhat cut-adrift and although there will be a lot of games left, we could have a mountain to climb, especially as we cannot sign anyone until January.

We haven't lost the next three games yet and, even if we do, until it's mathematically impossible to stay up, we aren't relegated. I hope that neither Roy, nor any of the players, are thinking like you Willo.
