Dores anyone know whether Loftus-Cheek looked any good when he played centre-forward previously? I don't recall seeing it, but he looks the type who could fulfil that role right enough. Especially feeding off players like Zaha and Townsend.

Another way of looking it is that even if we are without a point after eight games, three of those are away to teams challenging for CL spots and one is at home to the reigning champions. If we turn things around at least we won't have United, City and Liverpool away left to play. Heck, we may even still steal a point or two in the next 'unwinnable' games. For me the key is going to be how Roy addresses the Bentenke injury. We are already showing signs of becoming a more cohesive unit, so I'm not ready to reach for the Kleenex yet (well, not for that reason anyway)

Another way of looking it is that even if we are without a point after eight games, three of those are away to teams challenging for CL spots and one is at home to the reigning champions. If we turn things around at least we won't have United, City and Liverpool away left to play. Heck, we may even still steal a point or two in the next 'unwinnable' games.

If we had to have a season where we needed to chase points, this is it. The top six are going to be so far ahead of the rest of the pack, it will be two seperate leagues this year. Outside those six there isn't much between them, i dont see why the second half of the season can't be a good one for us.

The top six are going to be so far ahead of the rest of the pack, it will be two seperate leagues this year. Outside those six there isn't much between them, i dont see why the second half of the season can't be a good one for us.

There's talk of Wanger going to West Ham. If he leaves Huddersfield then I can't see them surviving. It's been a terrible start, but we only have to do better than three other teams to stay up.

I'm sure you meant Wagner, I think a "wanger" is something else altogether.
