You've also said you weren't going to engage with me. Not a man of your word are you? Tsk.

What Trump Jnr said was right....he didn't use the word harassed.

What a joke....You refused to stop posting replies to me, despite me repeatedly asking.

I never gave you my word. To be honest Nick, I wouldn't trust you with it now. You exist pretty much exclusively as a Hol troll. You certainly shouldn't be representing the site on media....far too polarised. I don't know what's going on there but we need a more reflective figure.

I wonder how many women offered certain favours? This guy needs taking down undoubtedly. But this men in power are not attractive to women? 90% of the audiences for 50 shades of grey were women.

I think this is rather typical of idealogical 'progressives'. You just think you're right even regardless of stats and figures. A bit like the fresh faced youth who reads Marx and suddenly thinks they understand how it all works and what the problems are. The reality is that like nature, real life doesn't care what you think and your 'solutions' are no better...well, in reality produce worse situations because they are artificial.

I just think you are deaf to what females actually want. You are more interested in making them fit what you think they should want.

I spent years trying to encourage girls into IT and computing, when I was younger I was actually quite enthusiastic about it.

As I grew older and having seen what happens the reality is that more girls are attracted to presentational subjects more than process subjects. With more girls than boys being attracted to front end development rather than back end development. That's just a difference between the sexes that I've observed in this subject. It's often independent of initial promise within that subject.

The females we get who are interested in programming and servers are wonderful. They are great to have because the subject at the higher levels is so lop sided. The point is made to girls that choosing this area is an advantage to them as so many companies are desperate to up numbers...But people choose careers they are interested in. No one is right to tell them they are wrong.

Interestingly, in all girls schools many do excel in those subjects.

Are you saying girls chose IT and computing at percentages higher than in mixed schools?
I would be interested to see the evidence for what you say here.

I'm only going by what teachers in those schools tell me. I speak to quite a few in my union role. It's come up in conversation a few times.

Being in the subject I think I would have heard of that before if it were true....but who knows..I can only say what my experience is as well.

Maybe all girl schools are better for Stem subjects participation for girls. I certainly agree that more girls choosing these subjects would be a good thing. We just don't have enough people in stem in general.

You are ridiculous. You say I am deaf to what females want, when all I want is for them - or anyone - is to make their own choices. You are the one who is judging all females by the propensity of behavior or choice that you see from some of them, which is arrogance at best and bad analysis from a small sample at worst.

I am not trying to get anyone to fit into anything. I want everybody to have the opportunity to pursue what they want to and go as far as their talents will take them. A liberal utopia, perhaps, but let's at least start without anyone having to suck a fat man's dick just to get a job.

Well, we perhaps would like the same outcomes on this....but we have different views on human nature and the reasons why people want what they want.

Also perhaps a different view on what a 'liberal utopia' is.
