Many teams can seemingly play badly against Palace and still pick up all 3 points. Desparately need a striker! Not getting Tosun is really coming back to bite us on the behind.

Reminds me of the Burnley game all over again. That darned PVA missed a sitter last week after Courtois parried a shot and it was on his left-foot as well ! Bloody disappointing result but I predicted 1-0 and for once I was right.

From a big high last week to a big low this week. We were always generally in control but they defended in numbers well enough and we had no goal scoring ideas. We had all the control upto the penalty area but when you need the goal scorers to take over I am afraid we had none. The players we have are really only able to counter attack we do not have the players to attack a defensive opponent.

That's exactly what happened; there was no deflection after Merino's header and that should have been a routine tip over. Disappointed with that but you could definitely see it coming. If PVA had got any sort of touch it could have been very different but not a bad performance over all. Still a long way to go so not too despondent.
