The increases in immigrants to the UK in the last 20 years have been largely from non- Muslim countries, such as Poland and other eastern Europeans. The Sunni/Shia aspect is pertinent, but it is Saudi Wahhabism that is generally accepted as the source of anti western terrorism. The adherents of this sect are a tiny percentage of Muslims worldwide. So demonising Islam as a whole rather than looking at the real culprits is counter productive, to say the least.
