Oh yes, and they really love it when jerkoffs give them a hard time or otherwise insult them for doing it so you just crack on, fella. I'm sure it's much appreciated.

.... truth hurts.

I'm a little bit backwards

When the 'power' of being a moderator goes to one's head, they become dicktators.

Nothing new, certain mods are on a power trip and love to ‘clean up’ threads and merge unrelated topics. It’s been happening for ages.

Doesn't matter. His loan club have first refusal at 6 million, not even we can ask for him back if they reach the break in contract clause.

That's just how sh1t Freedman is as a director of football. Whatless little fcukwit

It really would be the ultimate sorry end to the Sorloth saga if he finally reaches form and moves to Trabzonspor for 6m only for them to then sell him on for double the price to a potential rival of ours. Classic Palace you'd have to say. Although only rumours mind.

On another note he had a decent sending off in his last game when the opposition twice blatantly just tried to kick him.

Can't find the Sorloth thread (probably can't see the wood for the trees). Reason I wanted it was to ask the question
"Where on earth did the Beeb get the idea that Villa are prepared to offer us £15m for Sorloth?" (see today's gossip) Indeed, with the loan deal in place with the Turks are we even able to sell to another club without their agreement given that there is no right of recall and the Turks have an option to buy?

I can just see April 25 Villa 3 Palace 2 last minute winner scored at the away end by one A Sorloth to win a relegation six pointer - proper John Motson irony.

How does this logic flow.

Freedman finds player for £10m. Roy doesn't play him, he progressively gets worse until the fans slat him and say we should offload him... probably for free.
The fans blame Freedman for this waste of money.

We manage to loan him out and find a deal were we can recoup £6m......then hes successful, so the fans blame Freedman for not giving him a good enough sell on clause for someone they said was hopeless.

Surely Roy's fault for not giving Sorloth a chance.

My understanding is that Sorloth was Roy's choice not Freedman's

If the deal is as most reporters say, then Villa would probably give the money to the Turks, they would pay us to complete the deal and then the Turks would sell straight on to Villa and pocket the difference. We lose about 50% of what we paid for him. Another all round fabulous Palace deal.

Why oh why do you all care so much ? He was absolutely horrendous for us and had to be let go.

Celtic let Puki go for free to Norwich and now look at him, he’s probably worth 20 odd million. These things happen in football. It’s not your money so don’t stress about it.
