Amazes me every time how quick folks on here are to dismiss a player before he has hardly kicked a ball for us. He started to prove during the recent international friendlies that he can handle himself on a bigger stage and injuries mean I think we have yet to really see him. I wouldn't trust any reporr from Turkey and can't see why any player would want to play there, the fans are passionate but financially the league is pretty much bankrupt wth players not getting paid etc.

He won't be here long. We're his 5th club in 5 years. He either likes his signing on fees, or clubs suss out that he's not all that and move him on. I suspect the latter but would be happy to be proven wrong. Or he keeps improving and proving himself and this is a big jump in level of football. Just a possibility.

I want to see what he can do in a full season. We potentially need 4 strikers in the squad. At the moment we have three, one is perenially injured, the other two are now being linked with moves away. Do we really want to put ourselves in a position where other clubs realise we are desperate for 2/3 strikers and can hold us over a barrel? Let's try and actually strengthen the department before we start moving players on because we can't muddle through another entire season with no firepower, at some point we won't get away with it.
