Mamadou Sakho Too 'Scared' To Play.

How fickle some fans can be. Not so long ago, there were many posts on here castigating SP for his prevarication over signing Sakho. Now he's getting criticism for signing a "damaged" player. Give me a break!! As was said in other posts, the player knows his own limitations following injury and obviously is not keen on having an immediate relapse. He's one of twelve injured players (or is it 13 now?) that need encouragement, not criticism based on hearsay and ignorance of the situation.

The guy puts his body on the line every time he plays, he gets injured often, yes, but he is not a coward not even close. He is the sort of player that throws himself in front of players and gives 100% when he plays. The guy was one of the main reasons we stayed up last season with some of his monstrous performances.

The only gutless people on here are the so called ‘fans’ slagging off one of our top players from behind their keyboards.

If he is saying he feels his calf, he shouldn’t play.

He plays football! I played football for numerous years, I loved a tackle, the old school type, not the dangle leg type that we see now. Never did I think I was putting my body on the line when I blocked a shot.If I had (and did) get injured I had nothing like the medical back up pro footballers have, nor did I get paid (obscene amounts of money) to do it.
So please let's not make these guys out to be some war hero for, basically, playing a game.

Stuckinbristol is a reference to family/work/financial commitment, not the snow!!

We haven't had much , think it's been massively over hyped to be honest.

Anyway, how are you coping? I've read about your accident, sounds bad mate.

Im getting there.It will be quite a while before i can hopefully go home but that's up to the docs.thanks anyway mate.

I take it from Roy’s press conference Sakho won’t be playing against Man Utd either with him saying jelly and Schlupp are the only two back this week ?

Do you think, as a leader, he might pop in to give the lads a bit of support this time? I'm not talking about just hands in pockets in a seat somewhere but in the dressing room. I think they need all the help they can get.
