As i sit in the lower Holmesdale I'm not even allowed to even attempt to renew my seat yet,and the club don't even have the courtesy to tell me why.
Why does everything at Selhurst Park have to be shrouded in mystery ?
The most important people at a football club are it's supporters, but at the Palace we are the last ones that are told what is going on.
I will eventually renew and the club know it,and are exploiting the fact, but the longer they leave me in the dark the more attractive the pick and choose option becomes.

Yeah, im 53 and past the age of having to go in case i miss something, or meeting up with your mates, it would suit me to get a membership and pick an choose games i fancy, nothing better than turning over chelsea for example, but midday sunday kick offs mean i cant drink heaps of beer on a saturday as i wouldnt get up, so maybe thats the route i will take, shame thou, as i think the more season tickets the better for the club and the 34k stadium!

Same age as me, I miss the occasional game now because of work, where I live and general laziness if a games on TV, so I’d love to bin my season ticket and pick and choose my games, but I dont want the hassle!!

yeah, i know what you mean, thats why i wanted to renew, and not go to a few early kick offs if i dont fancy it, and wasnt going to post on here as i thought its the market etc, but decided to on the walk back to croydon through the bronx as i think 58% is taking the pizz and like i said, i was 172 short ffs!

Went in today to renew my season ticket in the main stand and its gone up by 58%, i was expecting 10%, maybe 15% , but 58 % on last year! Asked the bloke if it was a mistake and after checking he said no, its correct! Not sure if im going to renew, or just do the membership and go to a few games that suit me timewise, and save a few hundred in the process!

Sounds like Parish and co are taking the piss big time!!

I was sort of thinking im doing the club a favour as i dont really need to go to every game for time reasons etc, but thought i will renew, to keep the numbers up etc, then when i was 172 short and walking home started to feel a bit let down, as i said, a 10% or 15% rise i was expecting, even asked the guy behind the jump how much they going up then? He said 4 or 5%, then gave me my 58% price rise!

I think Palace are deliberately pricing people without children out of the family stands so that people with children can purchase those tickets. Seems to make sense to me.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Last season it was £420 for adults, £280 for OAP’s and U21, and £190 for U18’s.

Sounds like you managed to get a really good deal last year.

Yeah, it was a good deal granted, but i can only see one goal and doubt anyone else will want that seat, not on a season ticket anyway, they might get a few in the season not knowing what seat it is i assume, but theres a little batch around there that are always empty cos of the view! It might be to let more kids in, but the majority around me are adults, maybe 20% are under 16, so not sure thats the case!

My concession in the Main Stand has gone up £20 quid from £440 to £460.As a slightly older person it's a good deal.If we stay in the Premiership it equates to £24.21 per match,in the Championship £20.00.

Yeah but as he says he has to sit behind a pillar which is not ideal so think he should get a discount. I'm sure not many people would pay it for a seat like that.
