In terms of the scumbags, I suspect its more to do with their f***ed up culture rather than Islam in particular given that a majority of them seem to come from a specific region of pakistan. Along with the reality that many are probably feeble minded given the high proportion of Cousin marriage that has gone on for generations in this specific region.

But it is too easy to focus solely on them. My ire is aimed at the people who knowingly either ignored what was going on or actively colluded to ensure that they escaped justice for as long as they did. These people were meant to be amongst our best and brightest, enjoying the most privileged positions in our public services and they sacrificed these girls for the sake of their own careers. I loathe them with a genuine passion.

Islam does claim superiority of Muslims over non believers and other religions. Though to be fair this isn't entirely missing in other religions.

What matters is how a religion is practiced.

I agree with you that these actions aren't approved by the vast majority of Muslims and that the cultural aspects of pakistan and Bangladesh plays a significant part here.

Though these cultural aspects are also wrapped up in their attitudes towards non Muslims....which is cultural based upon their interpretation of Islam....or more accurately the interpretation they were taught.

I am not positive about Islam in the UK in regards to our current situations. Yet, these people aren't typical and are criminals and sex abusers and wouldn't be regarded well in the Islamic community either.

I acknowledge that.....but would they be shopped? I don't know...I don't think any have been.

I have knowledge of these cases yes, but I make no claim of superiority over you.

I would only ask that you look into these troublesome instances of state feebleness, the fault of which has been 'policies of sensitivities'.

I've always argued that the Police should be colour and race blind. These cases are entirety the fault of political and ideological interference into the Police and the work of councils.

We now have a whole management structure that fears 'perception' instead of the application of the law or safe guarding.

You are right, the police need to be about upholding the law and in particular protecting the vulnerable who often get no protection anywhere else. They have seen race/religion instead of crime. You would hope that the police would be welcomed into any community that is going to get rid of rapists and pedophiles.

has anybody heard stories of 'Block Voting' on the part of the Islamic community. ie. Dear politician, you will Support our interests or ALL OF US will be voting for the other guy'' ?

it may explain just how so many senior officials were caught napping.

Are you suggesting the majority of Muslim people in that area tacitly support this behaviour and pressurise the Police to ignore it?

1. No i am not.

2. i mentioned politicians, not police.

3. Are you suggesting the large body of politicians ignoring this problem ( and ensuring colleagues ignore it too) just happened by magic ?

4. Tacitly support ? Its hard to do that when you have no idea of what is going on. But you can still do some 'identity politics' and vote against anybody who ever disagrees with you or refuses to give you all their unconditional help and support.

If you do not believe in the power of identity politics, try running for office in the US and present yourself as fairly neutral ( or even bored )
towards the existence of Israel. See how far you get ?

We can only hope that they learn from this.

But personally I think that would require both a change in political and policing mindset that doesn't appear to be on the horizon.

Early on, when these 'group' rape cases were first raised, groups such as the Muslim council of Britain did indeed play the 'race' card on this issue.

And it was dropped.

I’d suggest that, in the former, they’re largely aware of it and turn a blind eye. The police are too politically indoctrinated and pusillanimous to actively pursue (for the sake of “community relations”) a la Rotherham.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Recently the me too campaign has made headline news. Tonight this story was way down the news items on BBC. Possibly up to a 1000 cases of girls being abused and some raped and some very young. Yet an alleged touching of a woman’s arse grabs the headlines. Hopefully they will shut up and let the police investigate these horrendous crimes.

Not at all, at least not intentionally.

I suspect that if these men lived in pakistan and Bangladesh they would be targeting vulnerable women there irrespective of their religion or colour.

Certain religions, or certain interpretations of religion, seem to have have very little respect for women. Or law.

You are incredibly WRONG. They have a low opinion of 'non believers' or kafir. The information from multiple court reports show that the target is white girls. Do you actually read these?

My reference to social justice in respect to May is completely to do with her policy initiatives on enforced diversity and inclusion and her obsession with political correctness....she is the quintessential blue rinser.

She is a self admitted 'feminist' and she represents almost as bad a Tory leader as Cameron.

Obviously for reasons that would go completely over your head.....you are obviously a Corbyn supporter.....a clueless chinless anti Uk Marxist who would ruin this country and then blame the 'establishment'.
