Sorry that isn't comfortable because West Brom is on the last day of the season and going into that match after those results is going to be nervy.

If we lose at home to Stoke we will deserve everything we get.

So we do. Even so, this isn't one we should lose.

I did have taken a point before the Bournemouth game but it feels like two points dropped because of their late equaliser.
Draws are unlikely to be enough so we have to find a way of finishing games off.
You can argue that we’re playing well and have been unlucky but I think that the late goals conceded are indicative of a deeper problem that were also evident in Pardew’s time (e.g Swansea,Burnley).
We seem to find a way of dropping points.
I don’t like having to rely on the incompetence of the other struggling teams.

It's relying on the competence of teams like Arsenal and the bin dippers that gives me the heebie-jeebies. You never know when they're going to put out the juniors' XI.

We have played Stoke approximately 46 times away from home, and strangely enough, approximately the same number of times at home.

He was his first signing as manager and cost about 3,000,000 if my memory serves me correctly.

Just looked at it again, it is between the bottom 6! West Ham and unfortunately, Brighton are safe I believe. My gut feeling says Southampton will survive and stoke could easily put a run together. (At least one of them WILL get out of it)The importance of the stoke v palace game maybe absolutely huge. Biggest game in 5 years!
If them are two survive (my gut says they will) we have to get above Swansea and Huddersfield. As stated earlier, we deserve to go down if can’t finish above Huddersfield but Swansea will be dodgy.

I’m actually worried now for the first time since our first 7 losses! Is it me or does is seem destined to happen? Us get relegated? Chris Kamara stated that he can’t believe we are still in trouble with the way we have been playing.
We keep throwing leads away.
Injuries are non stop.

Unfortunately I think relegation is written in the stars for us

PS I’m never normally pessimistic so someone please snap me out of this.

People keep saying stoke and/or saints are capable of putting a run together. Why? Theyre down there for a reason, why should they suddenly put a run together. In fact I'd say we are more likely to put a run together than either of those two. Personally I'm very confident we'll stay up.

You think Brighton are safe and we're as good as relegated, yet if we beat them saturday were a point behind them with a better run in?

I never said we are as good as relegated, I said our luck is sh1t and we keep throwing leads away. And yes, if we beat them, we do ourselves a huge favour, however, that does not mean we are safe by any means. If we beat Brighton, I still think they are safe, they have a game in hand and we still be a point above us. The game which will be even bigger than this will be stoke away.

Arsenal's win (lucky us) leaves the following:

One win in our next two games and four points from our last three games would give us 38 points in total.

Leaves (2 of the 3 below having to happen):

Huddersfield needing 7 from 5, including 3 games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City - meaning that they would have to pick up a point from one of the big three teams - and win both of the next two fixtures at home to Watford and Everton.

Southampton needing 10 from 6, including Chelsea and Man City.

Stoke needing 12 from 5 including Liverpool. Meaning that Stoke need to beat West Ham and Swansea away; Burnley and Palace at home - assuming they don't pick up anything against Liverpool.

If 2 of the 3 above happen, then:

Swansea need 6 from 6, including games against Manchester City and Chelsea, so 6 from 4, and 2 of those games are against Stoke and Southampton.
