Why do lefties assume that the attitude towards ex-pats is different? It's not entirely the same of course. Spain actually wants these people there. Those people who go to foreign lands to permanently live should assimilate into those countries and I'm sure plenty do. I don't support countries within countries. Each nation is entitled to its own national integrity. What's happened to London for example, would be wrong if it happened to Madrid or any other nation's capital. Lets just claim you lot are right, lets assume he isnt a racist, a football hooligan or trying to stir up racial hatred....the lads a tw@t, cant you find someone with brains to rally behind? He is aan mindless reactionary that repeatedly breaks the law for views and attention and then plays race cards as soon as it goes wrong. He spouts childlike simplistic one liners and has no concept of society as a whole. Listening to him debate is like watching the drunk guy at the bar shouting a point that he is too drunk to put into words... If you are anti EU or right wing or even just a good old fashioned racist, he is about the worst possible person you could look up to. Its the 21st century, ditch him and look up to someone that is actually capable of fighting your corner...

Thought exactly the same thing: if this is the person people look up to and hail as a heroic patriot, I'll probably look elsewhere thanks.

There are people on the right, people who are anti eu and flat out racists that can argue their case so well that it genuinly sends you away thinking about your own point of view.
