IMO Wilf will be sold come Thursday and if it's to Chelsea my guess is that it will involve either Drinkwater or RLC coming the other way possibly loan or purchase. I obviously don't want to lose Wilf but to me everything points to it and the biggest one being that we are spending one hell of a load of money at the moment and with potentially even more being outplayed before Thursday. By not making it public about him earmarked to go, we don't see any purchase prices being inflated. Hope I am wrong! Dont think so. We have strengthened our midfield already after losing Cabaye and in the event that we don't get RLC on loan again. And we haven't "spent big". If such a move was on the cards involving Wilf we would be spending big on a replacement ....if there is such a thing ..... irreplaceable for me !

we havnt spent a hell of a lot of money, we have outlayed £10m this pre-season which is peanuts in PL terms. i see it the other way, we have purposley been very shrewd to ensure we dont need to sell wilf this summer. Absolutely right, Brauny. Completely agree.

This is more about the bloody Mirror Group refusing to be proven wrong yet again so they pull out the Garth Crooks 75 million nonsense. They're also rumoured to be signing Aaron Ramsey beating out Liverpool and that one is being treated with more credibility. For the final time, When the window closes Wilfried Zaha will be what he is now, a player for Crystal Palace FC wearing the Number 11 shirt. As for the Daily & Sunday Mirror, they can go hang!

I don’t believe there’s any chance whatsoever of Zaha being sold. He’s under contract and we all know if he leaves the chance of us being relegated will be greatly increased so why would we? Is the correct answer. Are people really so gullible these days to still believe newspaper gossip? Staggering. Funny how the newspaper has exactly the same number of pages in it every day, regardless of how much news there is.
