Also good news this is coming from the Guardian which normally gets Palace reporting spot on. As such I very much expect this to happen... potentially a big upgrade on RLC... who’d have thought! Can’t imagine we’ll also sign Antonio and a DM but if we do... WOW Window is hotting up!!

Yes, definitely. will play left side narrow. Zaha has been given the free role in all the friendlies I have watched.

This article [Link] seems to suggest his former employers are d*cks, so hopefully he'll enjoy being at a club where he can flourish. We may not have a league title in our 113-year history, but at least we don't have a club that will sh*t talk its players in the media.

This would be an AMAZING signing!! When were first linked I honestly thought we didn't stand a chance. Can't get too excited tho as there has been so many rumours and nothing so far has happened. Signings like this tho may keep Zaha a Palace player for longer.

Hmm We need to replace both Cabaye and RLC. Out of the two I would have to agree with others on here and assume Meyer would more likely fill the RLC role. That would mean we still need one of Kouyate or Gonalons. A true centre mid. After that a winger and a young forward would be the icing on the cake. Thinking Abraham or Ings and then perhaps Antonio or Watkins.

He's great behind the centre forward, but was terrible as a central midfielder (what they wanted him to play the past year) in my opinion. Most reports I have read from Germany say he played his best football when he dropped deep as he is not particularly quick. Great signing if it happens but will only believe it when he has put pen to paper.

Most Schalke fans were excited by the prospect of him dropping deeper and thought he had played his best football there since he first broke in to the team as a no.10 with Huntelaar, Draxler and Farfán all around him.
