I keep hearing people bring this up. That argument only holds weight on a legal basis. It doesn’t all of a sudden make it right.

Stirring up a divisive frenzy & damaging the atmosphere you’re pitching in the first place, intentionally or not, because your’re not getting your way. I just can’t get behind it. Palace fans have been disillusioned for all sorts of reasons probably more times than they can count. Majority don’t seek to take their anger out on the club.

I don't think anyone here, or even at the club, disagrees with the idea.

The problem is that right now (and back in March) it's almost impossible to do it properly, without massive disruption.

I'm all for a singing section when we have a new main stand and people can move to other good seats and there is room to juggle things about. The club rightly pointed that out as the most obvious opportunity.

I still haven't read anything from the HF that makes me think their action was anything other than selfish.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

There are a lot of differing view on the HF and people are entitled to a view. It is clear the club is taking all the supporters into account, not everyone wants to stand, sing and wave a banner, nor should they be made to.
The bottom line is the crowd respond to the performance of the pitch, if we are playing well the crowd is buzzing, if we are not it’s quiet. All this about the HF wanting to move has no bearing on the teams performance, which is what most supporters are concerned about.

My grandfather played for Palace a couple of times as an amateur back in 1910, my mother and her brother supported them and then when my mother wed my father it became eight because my dad had five brothers and later most of the male in laws joined the throng. I joined them when I was taken to a game at six years old in 1946 and have loved and supported Crystal Palace ever since. And before any smart arse says I don't go to matches anymore because I relocated to Cornwall I was a season ticket holder, along with my dad and sister for more years than I can remember. I still watch every game that's streamed where I can and still after all these years get emotionally involved. It doesn't make me better fan than anyone else but that is what it is.

In conclusion I am right behind the club in this sorry saga.The HF statement might be well written but they are only words. Their actions, however, in not carrying on are harming the club I love and are tantamount to blackmail to try and get their own way. So I would urge Mr Parrish to stand firm because once you've paid the Danegeld you never get rid of the Dane. By all means negotiate and try and resolve the situation amicably but NOT while the HF withdraw to try and force the issue.
