Fortunately they had sold out of all hot food in the Upper Holmesdale about 1 min after the half-time whistle blew which saved me buying 2 cardboard burgers for my kids.

Perhaps, instead of moaning to Steve over here, all catering complaints should be addressed to the American investors - running baseball/football or whatever teams they are, they should be well up on the way of mass catering at events in a properly organised manner.

Isn't it always said that American sports always have 4 quarters in a game so that you can get twice the eating and drinking in that you can with a game of 2 halves?

you've hit the nail on the head with the end comment Becky.
the yanks are totally focused on the full product in that they are geared up to milk every penny from the punters, although the quick service with food n beer is not to be slagged off.
Fair enough if people dont want to drink or eat but if you're going to provide the service, do it well. One could say why bother to sell scarves, replica tops etc as i've just come to see the game.
If not scale it back to just pie n chips but do it well.

Plus more opportunities to (a-hem) ‘appreciate’ the cheerleaders

Here’s a grenade.....

How much does “The vintner” earn from the sale of Palace ale..?

We’re other ‘providers’ bids worse than his?

Who trains n recruits these lacklustre poorly trained young humans?

Live ‘The vintner’ to pop over on match day pop behind the bar n pull a few pints of sh..e ale zip a few tops off warm bottles of Carla berg fizzy crap and get the abuse from disgruntled proper singing fans....!

Or grab a filthy cold burger from ur poor staff n lose a few teeth or spend the night in maydie with the sh..es..!

There won’t be any slimy cold fries though,I’m afraid cause they sold out of them ....!

Then why not join the cattle to take a relaxing long pee in the filthy toilets that I would not even let my dogs p..s in!!!

Open your eyes and ears provide some customer service for once...!
