Seems a bit odd to start claiming you are correct in some way when we are still on our record stay in the Premiership.
Most joining your chorus of disapproval are seem to be the type's that think Palace should be in Europe every year (see how that work's out for smaller clubs who have one good season) and think we can buy any player we want for any money and it guarantees success.

Neither of those propositions are being put forward by anyone other than yourself.

Parish is first and foremost a businessman and profit is the main inspiration, this is the same for any other Premier owner.
It cant be denied that he has overseen the most sustained successful period in Palaces history. He has had some luck on the way and made some mistakes, but the positives far outweigh the negatives.
Smug fans who think they know how a club should be run, think its easy. If a constant spend on players isn't forth coming they demand he sells up. Why would he do that? He knows the club is unable to progress any further without a bigger income stream ( enhanced stadium ) and thriving academy, which Jordan abandoned after the Bostock saga. Building up an academy takes time, so does improving the Stadium, but some think it should be done in an instant.
Reality is difficult for some to grasp.

Bang on. I actually think that our transfers recently have improved. There are way too many on here who think that running a multi million pound business is easy.

Buying £30 million CB’s doesn’t suggest the club is run brilliantly and its transfer policy sound.

New stand getting approval? When? When will it be built? 2040?

Training ground is going to be leased and it’s still not going to be up there with what a Prem club’s should be.

Scouting and transfer policy is mainly a joke, and that’s because we run out of funds some time after buying £30 million players and the scouting is p1ss poor and Parish surrounds himself with ex players without one day of experience or contacts.

Meyer, Kouyate and Vicente were very good additions, as I thought and hoped they would be, but do you not remember when it looked like they were bought because they were available rather than they fit into Roy’s 4-4-2 or nothing system? Last January was so pathetic it was almost unbelievable.

What needs to happen is for us to plan for not only the next window but actually have further windows in mind. There’s some indication that’s happening and hopefully after clawing out of the bottom 3 there might be some effort to have future windows in mind, because for too long we haven’t, and a lot of that is to do with Parish making repeated mistakes, not equipping the managers in August and then spending more than in January than we would’ve done in August. And then there’s the managers not having a pre season with the new players. The new transfer deadline before the first game may help us, something Parish was against. Strange view that one. Something that contributes to putting us in this cycle he wanted to keep.

I would argue that treading water / mid table "mediocrity" is the holy grail for every club outside the big 5 or 6.

The only thing that can move a club from the treading water category into the top 6 is a foreign investor with silly money.

So unless that happens then we've already reached the promised land.
