Can't be arsed to look for Mapletee's original wildly sweeping, ignorant and insulting post about the implications of a father bringing up a daughter. My wife of 12 years died 5 years ago, and left me with our two Girls they were 7 and 5 back then. My job means I'm away fairly regularly, so not there as much as I would've liked, but both are doing well at school, but more relevant is that neither has run away and joined Islamic State. Dick.

Thanks for your comment Dick. I am truly sorry about your wife I suggest you look at the specifics of this case. It appears the father barely knew the daughter. Very far from the loving and supportive home I am sure you have provided

There are plenty of kids in this country who are fostered, and encounter hostile environments, and sometimes experience abuse form those that are supposed to protect them.
