Said to my brother “we are safe with Roy, just.”

Each season under him would be exactly the same, just scraping by, questioning your season ticket as worth it?

We might very well sell Zaha at the end of the season, and when one day, maybe not this season, but one day we’ll be back in the championship, looking back at this squad thinking we should of achieved more.

I don’t care if we go down and don’t return for the rest of my lifetime, my memories will always be “ the Premier League was great, I loved being a Premier League team, but apart from a handful of games, my main memories of SP are of anger, excruciating frustration and disappointment. It was rarely fun watching Palace at home.

I don’t have the heart to do it, and I’ll forever live in hope, but sometimes I think I should save the money on a season ticket and go to more away games.

Today hurts, but it’s not the worst scenario. Let’s hope for something in the cup. I probably hate Watford more then Brighton anyway

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

As they say it's this that kills. Certainly you and the other season ticket holders deserve a lot better and must be very dispiriting to see every week, particularly the start to matches. They seem to set the standard.

Cup is going to be tough as mentioned on another thread they have made 7 changes today so intend to throw everything at us next week. Hopefully we will be more comfortable away and can at least put on a show.

Just got back so haven't read the thread.
An inept performance from start to finish - tactically poor throughout.
Why Meyer and Kouyate were on the bench I have no idea at all so wrong team as well.
Add to the normal "Roy I am not changing things and using my subs early" and it was a disaster!
They played one up front so we played four at the back and stayed that way until near the end!
PVA needs dropping - play Ward there - Roy won't of course.I
Roy needs his P45 now as well - clueless today.
Everyone around us won so we are right back in it.
I cannot think of a positive from today.
Oh - and Wilf and Wan B are probably on the phone to their Agents right now sorting out their next moves!

So - thanks as always Alan Pardew - you are a p***k!!!!!

Absolutely diabolical. Us supporters have had to endure just 11 goals at home from 15 PL games and only rock-bottom Huddersfield have a worse home record.

Some teams are more than the sum of their parts and we are just the opposite.Totally unacceptable dross. To be fighting a relegation battle with the players at our disposal is unacceptable

You can talk about tactics and team selection but I thought the biggest thing we missed today was luck. No way did Brighton deserve to score two goals today.

Bad luck has accounted for just 3 home wins and only 11 goals. Someone has to carry the can for such dross. Often poor team selection and poor use of substitutes etc etc.
Same old garbage game on game

He obviously is a superior being who is immune to the complete $hite we saw out on the pitch today.

It's not been worth the expense, time or effort turning out to watch Palace at home this season.

He Stands there thinking, he inspires no players.....

I was crying out for Meyer to replace McA straight after our penalty, he waits until we go 2-1 down!!

Please pass H, we need inspiration from a manager, Im so tired of negative methods at home matches

I like Roy, but he doesn’t have a lot of touchline presence. I wish he could be a bit more inspirational/ motivational. Perhaps someone else could do that part of the job for him.

I know I’m not allowed to criticise WZ but I think Roy took the wrong winger off. Brought Benteke on so we had 2 genuine strikers for the first time in ages and very time we got the ball we passed it to Wilf who tried to walk it into the net. We were rubbish down the left side today both attacking and defensively.
AWB and Luca were the only players worth their salt today.
