Maybe we played our final last week.

Still only one score in it.

The scrums are a real worry. Not a great first half. Still, 6 points isn't the world as you say, so let's hope we get into gear.

I kind of feel Dave that we get in front we will do it. It’s the fact we are chasing the game

I do hope so. Not an ideal start to the half, but not out of it yet by any means. A couple of England tries wouldn't go amiss!

Willo called it right. No doubt he will be called a traitor! England were dreadful. To say "they played their final last week" sums up why we seldom win anything.

Damn, well played South Africa. England just couldn't find a way through. Not at our best, or reflective of our tournament as a whole really.

It's a shame Wales didn't beat SA in the semis!

If we'd have got the try in the first half when we came close, who knows. We're certainly a decent team but it didn't happen on the day.

South Africa were the better side.

Maybe England bottled it, but that's part of the game. The team that produces when it matters are ultimately the better side.

I just felt that it would be a case of "After the Lord Mayor's show" after that win against New Zealand.
Physically that will have taken a lot out of England.Don't think many will have predicted a 20 point margin today.

Rugby for the brutal.

My beef with Rugby is the constant stoppages and constant rule changes, penalties for practically anything.

We needed a ref who would encourage open play.

The Japs were outstanding to watch but in the end muscle wins.

No doubt it did, though we did play one game less than a lot of teams too of course. At the end of the day if you make it to the final anything can happen, and it wasn't our day. Disappointing result considering the tournament as a whole.
