Looks like the 'child on the floor' story is probably 'fake news' by an activist(s). Imagine my shock, I wouldn't put much past them at this point. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Dec 2019 10.26pm)

However it also wouldn't surprise me if the revelation that it is fake news is spin put out by a Tory activist. Either version is believable I assume that the papers will look into this woman's background until then I withhold judgement.

You don't build your health policy for a country based on one sick child. How efficient is that hospital? What funding have they been getting ? What are the average waiting times? Symbolically it looks bad for the Tories and the way Johnson responded to the reporter was crass. However if I was Johnson I would point out that the last time we had a Corbyn like government back in the seventies they made such a hash of the economy that a Labour yes a Labour government had to slash funding to the NHS and borrow money from the IMF. 2 days to go will this make a difference? Can Boris be trusted with the NHS, Can Corbyn be trusted not to wreck the economy? A listener came up with a great quote that I'm surprised that the Tories have not picked up on. "Labour are planing an immediate nationalisation of 10% of the economy, with more to follow" That's how signifiant their polices are. Still all to play for.
