And for crying out loud......Listen to you, you're complaining about 'macho bullsh1t'....in boxing!

You can't even be an alpha in frigging boxing without someone coming out with an 'ism'.....fecking hell.

Shall we complain about the estrogen levels in knitting?

I love it!!! The irony in your reply whinging about my comments is quite something!! Well done Sir!!

Couch applied for a professional licence which was refused by the British Boxing Board of Control.. The reason given??.. That she was a women and that PreMenstrual Syndrome made women to unstable to box!!.... Not sexist no??

She took them to a tribunal and the decision was overturned...

As for most women not giving a monkeys about boxing I suppose it depends on what sort of female company you keep.. I know lots of girls who box... Indeed my sister has boxed at a good level for years and both my daughter's have been kickboxing since they were 7..

Maybe your female company aren't fussed for it and that's fair enough.. Or maybe you just prefer your women to only talk about fluffy kittens and not to make any mistakes with their embroidery??

Women’s boxing has grown massively in the US recently and they wouldn’t even know who Nicola Adams is.

Personally I can’t stand women’s boxing but each to their own.

Boxing and Football are the same for me.
Love men’s boxing/football , domestic, world level watch loads of it.
Women’s boxing/football , not for me.

Good luck to Nicola Adams, always thought she came across well. Don’t want her replacing any of the male boxing commentators though , like the football has gone.

How the feck do you know? It's just the go to response from 'ism' obsessives like yourself.

I guess the words, 'most women' was kind of hard for you to understand.

How funny that someone who complains about sexism then just comes out with an opposite trope.

So according to you because I mentioned she faced sexism that makes me an 'ism' obsessive??
Even though it was proven by a tribunal that the BBBC decision was sexist??... Blimey Scooby Doo is less confusing than you!!

Oh ok so you know that the tribunal was an all male panel do you??... No.. Of course you don't.. Again, you assuming it was shows the 'ism' in you rather than me I'd say!

And you saying most women.. Well you don't know most women when it comes to the female population do you??.. No..
As I said.. It depends on the company you keep

Proved sexism? The tribunal said the BBBC were sexist did they? If they did they must have had people like you on it.
Load of old waffle.

I'd say it's very likely that it was majority male....Oh god....it must have been sexist!!!!

For feck's sake.....Arrrrrrggggh!

Most women aren't into sport and most that are don't choose to punch each other....so that population is small and calling it 'popular' with women is an absence from reality...If this is controversial for you then perhaps you should just stick your bra back on, carry on complaining about another 'ism' or 'macho men' and just ignore me.

Oh wow... A load of old waffle even though it’s true... I’m sorry it’s an inconvenient truth for you but it’s a truth all the same!! But it’s ok... You keep those fingers firmly in your ears singing ‘la la la la’ repeatedly whenever anything factual gets mentioned!!

Oh so the males on that panel are now all like me for proving sexism... The same males you were basically praising for proving it in reply to one of my points a couple of posts ago??

Most women aren’t into Sport??... Oh Stirling you are something bless your heart... Honestly who do these women think they are leaving that kitchen eh??!!

Nope, the reality is that it would be majority male on the panel for various reasons and that people like you would probably think that is a product of 'sexism' itself....because that's what people like you think......An opinion or judgement you don't like from males....'must be an ism'.

Again with the tropes. Jane Couch was a trailblazer....not my angle....but please carry on, it's somewhat chuckle worthy.

I'm rolling my eyes at you complaining about 'macho men' in boxing.

It's hard to find data on stuff that's so obvious but here's some:

People like me not liking the opinion or judgement from males ‘must be an ism’

Are you forgetting that you’re the one not agreeing with the judgement of the panel who you also seem sure would of been majority male and it’s me that agreed with it??!!.....

Therefore, by your own words that would make you one of these ‘ism’ people you seem so obsessive about would it not??

Someone pass Stirling a shovel to keep digging with please!!

Who described Couch as trailblazer??... Don’t think you’ll find it was me!

Wow... An article that has no bearing whatsoever on Jane Couch or Nicola Adams... Thanks for that!!

You implied that the BBBC were sexist yet this is nothing but your own opinion.....which is why I deem it worthy of criticism....people quick on the 'isms' are responsible for a lot of crap.

Where did I state that I didn't agree with the panel to overturn the decision?

I stated I didn't agree with your assertions of sexism and I'm criticising your phrasing of the situation.....You're the 'ism' here.

Your assertions are as faulty so your summary.

You tried to pass off the idea that boxing is popular with women.

The truth is it's not even close when it comes to most popular sports with women....it varies country to country but volleyball and/or its variants are usually found near the top.

It's hard to find surveys on the popularity of boxing with women.....Mmmmm...I wonder why that is.

However what I did find was evidence that men prefer sport to women all over the world and spend a significantly more of their leisure time doing it.
