I've spent most of the last decade as an odds compiler for a few of the big firms and can assure you that bookies have no inside track on these transfers and make it up as they go along.

There's this big conspiracy that bookies know all the inside information and it couldn't be further from the truth. The initial odds in these markets are essentially a guess and then they are changed based on where the money comes in.

They're actually markets that most bookies lose money on as normally what happens is a news report comes out saying "Club A are in talks to sign Player B". Obviously they can't be monitoring the news constantly so will suddenly see a flood of bets coming in on that happening before they get a chance to change the odds.

So I suppose my point is that nobody should ever take these odds as an indication of what is actually happening behind the scenes, they are often wildly wrong and, if we have actually got an agreement in place with Fraser, that 3/1 will prove huge.

Think thats a bit far fetched, dont know why anyone would be eating humble pie.. Just by looking in the media which we can all do we clearly have some sort of interest so if its pretty much 50/50 if he signs or not. I havent seen much information yet that justifies ITK inside information. Its all we hooe to do it, thingx progressijng etc. In the know is info not readily available on twitter. Until such time as we see someone saying weve agreed a fee, he signed etc its all just fantasim to me. I havent seen any credible inside info given yet other than whats in mainstream media. Thats just me
