If we do sign Clyne on a short-term as rumoured in the Athletic and other sources that will give us a full 25 man squad by my reckoning. Even then it would mean either Wickham or Woods missing out (but then Wickham has spent most of his time at Palace missing).

No I excluded Innis from my calculations. the current 25 are:

3 keepers

We aren’t going to be buying players to exclude other squad member with high wages. It’s simple economics, which doesn’t apply to the top 6 clubs, they can afford to have non squad players hanging around.

Unless someone is moved on, preferably Meyer which is very doubtful due to wages, there isn’t room in the squad for a new signing. We aren’t going to be buying players to exclude other squad member with high wages. It’s simple economics, which doesn’t apply to the top 6 clubs, they can afford to have non squad players hanging around.
