Don’t be surprised if Clyne on a short term deal is our only signing in this window - Parish /Freedman have a track record of constantly disappointing - I will be delighted if I am proved wrong and have to eat humble pie

More than 50 years a fan, you’d think I should have learned about Palace and transfer windows. I’d hoped for Brewster or another young striker, Behnrama , Bright Samuel and a young midfielder. Instead we’re likely to just add Clyne on a 3 month deal. Ferguson shows no sign of playing and I suspect that Roy will play Schlupp over Eze and Ayew over Batshuayi fitness permitting. This would mean the first team would contain no new signings, although the squad would be slightly stronger. I know there are financial constraints but still find it disappointing that further refreshment of the aging squad.

Why would we want Woods in the squad? Or Wickham for that matter.

Take them out and we have room for two. Room for any more and we would end up short because there is no way we are going to sign more than two. Maybe Clyne will be the only incoming with Woods leaving on loan I expect.
