Agree, assumed this was never a serious suggestion.
He's now a multi million and just wants to return to Spain, the money is almost irrelevant.
And if he did want to stay in England let's face it it wouldn't be with us

You never know until you ask. Why do some players finish their careers in lower teams?

Ribery went to Fiorentina last year for ana average salary.

Deal agreed but no where near being done as other teams are interested still think heíll end up at spammers with josh hugill going the other way as part of the deal

Beeb website says he's a Spammer ... as usual, there's no point in speculating who we might recruit but we certainly need to cut out some of our deadwood before the next season starts.

If Brentford get knocked out of the play offs expect Watkins and Benrahma sign for West Ham the next morning

They already bought Bowen. Benrahma plays in his position.

I think 6 of their 8 attacking players are very good: Bowen, Antonio, Haller, Fornals, Felipe Andereon, Lanzini, but we can't afford any (I think cheapest would be Lanzini at 25 million), while Yarmolenko has shades of class and I think Ajeti is a very good young striker, but has a lack of playing time lately. They might let Ajeti go for the same money they paid for him.

Actually, to think about it, a 20 million bit to a West Ham who wants to sell the 38 million player from 2 years ago who has played pretty well in England (21 goals and assists from winger position in 5000 minutes) would be worth a try. In truth,15 of those 21 cane last year. But 6 in 1700 minutes this years isn't bad. Worth 20 million at his 27 years.

There are reports Lennon is making moves for Ajeti. Would like to think its because Edouad is coming to us lol.

Watkins all round game was impressive against Swansea tonight. Would rather have him than Benrahma not just on tonight's showing.
However, Brentford now one game away from the Prem and it's looking like we will have another Derby game next season with Fulham two up and playing teh second leg at home.
