A terrorist would look to wipe out multiple people. He ain't going to do that at 2 am in a police station.

It all depends what he originally was being bought to the station for and once there He knew his gun would eventually be found so took his chance.
He is dead now from I hear.

Ultimately it is incredibly sad that someone has it in them to commit a crime such as this. It is dreadful that it is a Police Officer and in his Station as well, but any like taken so lightly is terrible. Just so sad and at the same time very scary indeed.
