I hope this sticks in the throat of the legal system and all those lefties

And Dicks statement “ early indications is the suspect shot himself although this has not been established” who gives a s*** how he was shot, perhaps she is hoping to find an Officer to prosecute

The council is mainly to blame. Absolute mismanagement.

As for West Croydon, it's really not that bad. Unless you get intimidated by the high street being full of, how might you put it, 'ethnics'. Seems to be where that crude, drive by observation has come from.

I live 10 minutes walk from both WC and EC station. Yes Croydon has it's issues but from your closed curtain, shire based, outsider narrative anyone would think I'm going to get shot and mugged every time I step outside my house. Complete dross

It ultimately depends on your age and appearance walking about on streets the new locals consider their area now. And no I wouldn’t feel as safe walking around in the obvious parts of Croydon, especially branching out north of the town centre, compared to other areas or suburbs of Croydon. There’s a new code there now and new dialect come to it. And actually there’s walking along a road with shops on and then there’s walking down side streets with youths or late 20’s hanging around smoking weed and doing or being there to do whatever else. You just don’t have that risk in other places. Life has a different value and weapons are completely normal.

Much easier to brush the inconvenient truths under the carpet.
How dare we ask questions of why!!

A lot of the critical comments are based on race and the assumption that the crimminal is from a minority group and the officer is white. Would the reaction be different if the crimminal is white and the officer is black?

As our beloved Mayor says.....'terrorism is just part and parcel of living in a big city.'

We need to just shrug our shoulders and move on. Nothing to see here and accept without question that Croydon is just one big happy melting pot of different cultures and ethnicities, all happily getting along with the only real issue being those grumpy Gammons who live in the south of the borough. They need to keep quiet, pay their council tax, not object to planning permission being dished out like peanuts to any fly-by-night developer who wants to knock down a single house and put up 8 flats in its place and know their place in this brave new world.

I guarantee if that was the case then we would have not only been told that already but also there would be no question of mental health issues raised. Still the same reaction though. A uniformed police officer doing his or her job should be safe to do so. End of story.

He's now in hospital, probably in an intensive care unit. Costing thousands to keep alive. Being protected by Police, costing thousands to stay next to him. If he survives, he'll end up costing the tax payer millions.

Terrorist's objective is to disrupt out way of life as must as possible. We shouldn't waste our resources on him.

You taking bets on the killer being white and the victim black? If it were so, there would already be banner-headlines saying it, with photographs of the killer posted all over the BBC and Grauniad.

Right Constable I want you to guard the prisoner even though he unconscious and critical. And whatever you do , do not accidentally unplug the life support machine just because you want a cup of tea.

True of course but the left have never cared about double standards.

Their ridiculous arguments won (for various reasons) and increased crime and violence is now the reality for many inner city areas.
