Well said People forget Roy has stayd loyal unlike Pullis an Allardyce who didn't fancy not being able to operate without spending millions. Honestly some of these Roy out brigade should have been around when were really crap, seeking re-election to the league twice and being relegated to the bottom tier of the league.

We've been really crap most of the time. At least there was some entertainment and passion. I'm not laughing at our comedy performances anymore this season, so the entertainment seems to have ran out. As for passion, hopefully tonight.

Just a thought what sort of performance tonight and more importantly what sort a beating would we have to have for Roy to walk?

It's Roy who gives the instruction not to press the opposition high. Brighton get the ball and we retreat to halfway. At most, one player will casually stroll towards the ball, but we don't force them to go long, we let them get the ball down and play from a solid base.

Look at the number of times in this game Brighton will win the ball off us in our own half, and watch how many times we do it to them.

That's why the game is constantly played in our own half, and it's why we look so comparatively toothless. We have to travel 70+ yards to score, with a distinct lack of pace in this side, and Brighton can play one pass and shoot.

I’d give up if I was you. Apparently we can’t play any other way. Oh and it’s not Roy’s fault, he’s only the coach.

We have our highest ever Premier League points tally at this stage of the season, under a manager who already delivered our highest ever points tally over the course of a full Premier League season & has kept us well clear of any relegation dog fights from the start

This has all been done on a budget of next to nothing, with the highest average aged squad in the league whilst giving 3 academy prospects their Premier League debuts in the process. One of whom is now an England international, the other started for us tonight.

These are simply facts.

Unbelievably, despite all of this, I've seen Frank Lampard, Eddie Howe & even Pardew(!?) banded about as his immediate replacement without any hint of sarcasm.

The entire thing is a joke that would be funny if it weren't so tragic. But the infantile campaign to get Roy removed from his position is easily the most hysterical & disappointing show I've ever seen as a Palace fan.

We're the Arthur over ere!

Funny how people were claiming when Liverpool put 7 past us it as a freak result.

I'd much rather our starting 11 than Brighton's but they playerd us off the park. Today truly was a feak result.

Good to see some commitment back in defence.

If he wants to leave on a high he can go tonight.
