Funny how so many on here would be willing to have a manager that has overseen a relegation come to Palace. Howe being another. Irrelevant re SP I reckon - even if they do go down, I'm sure his job is safe. It might be safe but he probably won’t want it. 8 loans in the side all of which would go back if the got relegated so that wouldn’t leave much of a team to work with. He would be an excellent manager for us based on how he has turned round Fulham’s form over the last half season. I don’t care if he gets relegated. He has shown enough ability to warrant another shot at the PL. it’s more likely irrelevant because I now think they will stay up.

Give Roy one more year with Paddy working alongside him and then give it to Paddy Mc.

I very much doubt Scott Parker would want to take on the project that is cpfc just to stay in the premiership. He is Fulham through and through and is now doing well as a manager regardless of whether they stay up or not.

Things change of course, but I would be very surprised if he leaves Fulham and even more surprised if he came to Palace.

If a club with a good opportunity comes alone and Fulham aren’t able to supply the funds for what is another rebuild then things do change.

I would imagine and hope that if Roy is replaced at the End of season, his replacement will already have been contacted, and negotiations completed. And there opinions of what players contracts are renewed and those not will have been discussed already. And also there opinions on transfer targets.

Parker's in a good spot at the moment no doubt, but I don't think he's any more fulham through and through than he is Charlton or West Ham. I think he'd move if Fulham go down and we can offer him something better. Edited by steven_t92 (09 Mar 2021 11.00am)

But hes played for Fulham, captained them, finished his career there and worked as No.2 to both Jokanovic and Ranieri there. So I think he has a fairly strong connection to the club.

Every season so far Hodgson, gets the points needed to stay in this division. For some that’s not enough. The arguments vary , some want more style, some want top half positioning and with it Europe. Many both.
