Fascinating screen shot from messages amongst Tory MPs about Frost leaving. The most telling message of them all though from Marcus Fysh - 'The whole point of Brexit is radical supply side reform...'

For anyone unfamiliar with this term he's using, supply side policies include additional privatisation, deregulation of labour markets including lowering minimum wages, deregulation of financial markets.

Within supply side economic thinking the reduction / elimination of minimum wage, unemployment and health benefits for workers is believed to increase wage competition among workers and encourage more workers to take jobs at lower wages, this in turn lowers cost for firms.

It tells you exactly what the Tory vision for the UK post Brexit is and it's wild to see a MP talk in such unguarded language.

As a side note it did make me chuckle to see Steve Baker removed Dorries.

From a purely selfish perspective, I'm getting really naffed off that every time "Santa" delivers presents from the UK for the little one (courtesy of Nan/Grandad/Auntie, etc) I'm having to pay VAT and custom's duties. The postman is so embarrassed by it all he doesn't even knock, I just get a letter. A new neighbour moved here from the UK after Brexit as his customers are mostly in the EU and he could no longer afford to carry on operating out of the UK. If I'd told my family they could have bought spare car parts off of him for my daughter. "Oh look, Santa's got you a new crankshaft for Daddy's car"

It is also about Sunak and his ruinous economic policies.

The economy will require stimulus, not tax breaks for wealthy property owners, he is killing demand including Frost's brexit dream.

A civil servant made a lord what a daft place we are in.

What a pain the whole thing is.

Diplomat surely.

'I am backing remain as I believe it is in Britain's economic interest and means we can focus on vital economic and social reform at home'.

Liz Truss.

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

Not any more Mr.Wordsworth!!

'Millions of daffodil stems will be left to rot in the fields this spring, as growers face a critical labour shortage that they fear could spell the end of the entire industry'.

'brexit means brexit'.

Brexit just gets better.

From the end of next year, Brits between the ages of 18 and 70 and will have to pay 7 (5.90) and receive travel authorisation before visiting Schengen countries.

And its not automatic, either.

That's quite amazing, brexit annoyances grow by the minute.

Most Brits never bargained for any of this, they just assumed. wrongly, it would be business as usual.

From the top table to second class citizens, in a stroke.

Wow 6 for a 3 year visa how inconvenient. If that's what the EU want to do then fair enough you need an ESTA for the states and there's a Canadian version, I hope we have reciprocated.

As we were not in the Schengen agreement who's to say this wouldn't have happened anyway?
